A beautiful, sunny day at the club for the Annual Charity Shoot today. A little cooler than the last few days, which was perfect for shooting.
We raised an amazing £850 for this years chosen charity, Headway (IOW). Thank you to all who attended, members and visitors alike, as we couldn’t do any of it without you. It was also great to see a few familiar faces who haven’t visited us for a while, too.
Many thanks to Mark C, Phil S and Ollie for running the Have A Go and the ground, and to Roger for taking over and giving them a break. To our “runner” Pauline, and to Ron & Ray for running the Pool Shoot. Thanks to Daisy & Peter for running the kitchen, to Frankie (& Tilly) for baking the amazing cakes, and to Jamie-Lee for being our photographer for the day – some photos to follow.
Thanks to all who publicised the event and donated raffle prizes (especially WBS, Jewsons, Toolstation & Brewers). Finally, many thanks to Lesley Bennett for nominating Headway (IOW) and for her help today.

The Impossible Pool Shoot proved tricky once again this year, with several tying for top spot for a while, until Darren Wray eventually won with 7 / 10. Darren very kindly donated his winnings to the charity
