20th July Sporting

The run of unbelievably good weather continues on the Isle of Wight, making shooting an absolute pleasure.  Today’s sporting shoot was outside of the Summer series, which resumes for the last two shots on the 3rd Aug, with the last shoot of the Summer series taking place on the 17th Aug. Sadly the 31st Aug shoot starts the Autumn series, which we hope will not bring on an early season change!

At the club today, were Jo & Giles Boddington of Bodster Equine Assisted Learning, they were pleased to receive a cheque for £700 which was raised at last week’s charity clay shoot, a fantastic sum for a small club to raise, and will ensure that the great work of this charity goes just a little further.  Thanks to everyone who donated. Ben Morris took the sporting high gun with 82, from Mark Coburn, Lee Pitman, and Mark Whillier all on 81.  In the handicap competition, Simon Ingram took first place, followed by Dave Greenham, and Danny Saunders in 3rd.
