The autumn working weekend took place at the club this weekend. With lots of ground works under taken, with new pathway toppings, improvements to the 4 x 4 parking and the (re)waterproofing of the storage hut, along with mowing & rolling the ground. The huge pile of rubble needed for these improvements was initially moved using the big gear, but as it was needed in some of the less accessible areas of the ground, smaller delivery methods ( which require quite a bit of manual labour ) were required. The ground is set nicely for winter now. The next major working weekend will be in early spring, to which all members are invited and encouraged to help out.
