Charity Shoot 2015

It was a fantastic day for the Charity Shoot as the sun shone all day, showing the ground at it’s best.
The club provided a buffet, with all attending making donations for the buffet and refreshments.
We had several visitors new to shooting, who all enjoyed the “Have A Go” stands.
Ron Western won the 100 Bird Sporting Charity Shoot with a score of 92.   The fiendish ‘Impossible Pool Shoot’ didn’t disappoint again this year, with Ben Morris eventually taking top spot, with Nick Spiers and James Askew tied in joint second place.
Many thanks to all who helped out, and those who took part today, and to those that donated prizes to the raffle, including local firms Brewers, WBS, ITS and Morey’s.   We raised an amazing £1000.00 for our chosen charity Ability Dogs 4 Young People, which we couldn’t have done without you.
Pam from Ability Dogs will be coming up to the club next Sunday 19th July at 9:30am, for the presentation of the cheque.  Pam will be bringing some of the dogs with her, and we hope to have the County Press there too, so it would be great if you could all join us.
We hope to see you all again next year.
