A lovely sunny day at the club, without the wind that’s effected the last few shoots. The sporting shoot doesn’t count to any series, giving everyone a break from competition.
There was only 1 DTL score recorded with Charlotte Morris shooting 49/100.
In the Sporting layout Lee Pitman showed the way, winning the High Gun with a tremendous score of 90 ( that’s just 10 away), followed by Mark Coburn and Ben Morris on 89, with fourth place going to Mick Gregson on 84. On handicap, Chris Beesley shot a fantastic 79, giving him a handicap score of 115, that was 9 ahead of 2nd place Mike Hendy 106, and third was Graham Morris 104.
In two weeks time the shoot will be the first of the Sporting Spring Series, and new handicaps and club classifications will be issued in the next few days.
