Shooting Suspended until June 6th

To all valued Club Members and visitors,

We currently find ourselves in an unprecedented situation as a club, a local community and ultimately a Country.

As a committee, we have closely monitored the data available to us over the past few days; having evaluated all of our options and taking into consideration the latest Government guidelines, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend shooting at the Club until Saturday 6th June.

We will, as a committee, review this situation on a fortnightly basis – if we are able to return to shooting before the 6thJune, then we will communicate this formally to you. If by the time the 6th of June arrives, we must further extend this suspension then again, we will communicate this to you.

For all members, please be assured that we are looking at how we can financially mitigate the fact that you are not able to effectively use your memberships during this period.

As a committee, we are confident that you will understand and support that we have made this decision with the continued health and wellbeing of our club members (and non-members) at heart.

Please keep yourselves and your families safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you back at the club as soon as it is possible to do so.

Assuring you of our best intentions and looking for your continued support.

Regards on behalf of the Isle of Wight Gun Club Committee,

Mark Whillier,

Chairman
