Today was Spring 4 in the Sporting Series, and the weather made it look like spring too. A challenging course, especially with the wind was worthy of the club championship.
Mark Whillier becomes Club Champion with 82, Followed jointly by Iain Hall and Charles Darbyshire 72, with James Askew just one adrift on 71.
In the Handicap competition, Nigel Leverton was first (61+39) 100 followed by Mark Whillier ( 82+15) 97 and Robbie Baker (55+42) 97, with Matt Slade just one behind (61+35) 96. Definitely a tough day with only 7 of 31 making ‘par’.
