WOW, what a day – it hardly felt autumnal today, temperatures in double figures, blue skies to shoot against. The only major telltale was the lower height of the sun, which made some stands a challenge. No challenge for High Gun Lee Pitman,95 well clear of 2nd placed Mark Coburn, shooting an excellent 90, Pete Squires was just one behind with 89, ( 4th placed scores was 85) so the podium was well deserved by these three great competitors.
In the handicap completion, some great shooting by Dennis Fisher48+64, 112, nicely ahead of Robbie Baker, 67+42, 109, and third placed Mark Coburn 90+16, 106. Good to see guns from Club Class D and A on the podium.
