A difficult day, with both birds and weather being extremely wet & windy! That said, one trio said it was the most fun they’d had in ages, as their scores were nip & tuck all the way round. A massive thank you to all those that turned out in it today.

Ollie Hughes found his way around the course to hit the High Gun of 78, from Mark Whillier 74, and Daryl Langdon 72.

In the Handicap Competition, Len Bancroft won with 45+60, 105, followed in joint 2nd by Tony Vickers 47+51, 98 and Ian McLellan 59+39, 98.

That shoot concludes the Summer series ( despite the fantastic weather generally we’ve managed to have 3 shoots in very tough wet conditions ! ) and the results will be posted soon.

The autumn series starts next shoot – 9th September.
