Autumn Sporting Series – The Winners!

End of Autumn 2018

A great autumn series has come to a close, fantastic layouts from the set up team, some great ground developments from those that attended the work party, and we’ve had some great weather. A total of 58 members shot at least one shoot in this series, and 8 attended all 6 shoots.

There will be awards handed out at the next shoot to the top 3 HighGun and Handicap. Similar celebratory awards are available to buy to celebrate your personal best ( personalised with Name, Scores, and Date of score, please see Maria if you would like to order one £8 )

Handicap, and club classes will change ( if you have shot ) in time for the next shoot, and the full table will be published in the coming days.

HighGun

The HighGun was Lee Pitman, with a convincing win with 447 hits ( best 5 shoots from 6 ). We should note Lee’s 6 shoot scores – 79, 81, 89, 95,87,95 the two great 95s in particular set Lee up well for this 1st place. Mark Coburn 2nd with 424. Mark missed a shoot, so had to shoot well on all 5 that he attended and he did just that with two 90s in the last two shoots of the series. 3rd place was Ollie Hughes, who counted a 90, and two 80s on his way to 3rd place.

Handicap

Robbie Baker was our handicap autumn champion with some great improvement and consistency to score 1,4,5,1,3,2 discarding the 5th place, for 11 points. Well Done. 2nd on 15 points was Dennis Fisher, followed by Len Bancroft 28 points.
