Towards the end of a clear and sunny set up, a sea mist rolled across the ground from the south side of the island, and never really fully burnt off. Luckily some high targets were still visible, and came with the useful excuse to miss them in the mist!
To kick the summer series off, Mark Coburn, took the High Gun with 82 ( a lower than normal high gun, reflecting the challenge of the set up ) followed by Ollie Hughes, and Mark Whillier , tied on 78. In the Handicap Competition, Peter Squires shot well to hit 78+23, 101, following, tied for 2nd place, were Darren Wray 70+30, 100, and Dennis Fisher 48+52, 100.
Today’s shoot was a club class with the new summer club class classifications.
A Class Mark Coburn
B Class Peter Squires
C Class Darren Wray
D Class Dennis Fisher
Club class awards will be handed out at the next full shoot – 16th June.
