Another busy day at the club, warmer than of late, but a chilly ( and strong ) Northerly wind always makes the sporting stands even more of a challenge then they normally are ! Some great shooting from Adrian Brooks 94, who took the sporting HighGun followed by Ben Morris 92, and Lee Pitman 89 Adrian’s

A cracking day at the club today, though we don’t keep records long enough, it was one of the biggest turnouts that anyone can remember. Thanks to all for coming. Everyone that did shoot today was greeted with a fantastic layout, and decent shooting conditions. There were two (or more) tricky stands, with a going

We were lucky that as forecast, the weather front passed through overnight to leave much less wind & the rain held off, to reveal an exciting & challenging layout, with quite a few simo pairs. A big climber in the Skeet ground caught a few out, but it was still enjoyable. Spare a thought however

WOW, what a day – it hardly felt autumnal today, temperatures in double figures, blue skies to shoot against. The only major telltale was the lower height of the sun, which made some stands a challenge. No challenge for High Gun Lee Pitman,95 well clear of 2nd placed Mark Coburn, shooting an excellent 90, Pete Squires was just one behind

A great day at the club, with kind weather for the first time in a while, light blue skies and no crazy wind moving the targets around (too much). There was a fab layout with one or two testing stands. It was really well shot by Leon Clifton with the top score of 90, followed

The forecast that never really materialised, that was the order of the day. Setting up for 50mph winds, we decided not to use the copse, but the wind didn’t blow so hard ( during outr shooting window at least ) and the rain all but stopped by 11am, giving way to blue skies and slightly

The sporting layout was tricky, even without any rain to contend with. An unusually low High Gun showed how challenging some of the stands were. Well done to Rob Butcher today’s High Gun – 83, followed by Leon Clifton 80, and Steve Donson 80. A rare occurrence in the Handicap competition, saw a three way tie for
