The Sporting layout was changed this week, to offer some relief to the ground in the copse, a layout consisting of 9 stands, with 6 pairs on 8, and just two pairs on 1 proved a good challenge of concentration to keep hitting the targets over the full 6 pairs.
Ben Morris found the targets to his liking hitting 91, with Mark Coburn 1 behind on 90, Jim Dempsey and Simon Hastain shared the final podium space with 85.
In the handicap competition Robbie Baker finished with 114 ( 69 + 45 ) with Simon Hastain earning 2nd place 108 ( 85 + 23 ) and sharing 3rd place was Jim Dempsey 107 (85 + 22), Ken Rozier 107 (80 + 27) and Nigel Leverton 107 (69 + 38) It could be considered an ‘easy’ day with only 4 of those shooting with a handicap number not making the ‘par’ of 95.
