It was a wet day at the Isle of Wight Gun Club for the final shoot of the selection process.
Five shooters had competed for the three places available for the Sporting and Sportrap team over 7 shoots.
In the end experience of qualifying for previous games paid off and the 3 shooters that so successfully represented the Island at the Jersey Games back in 2015 to win 3 silver medals came out on top again.
Congratulations to Dan Bishop, Mark Downer and Lee Pitman on their selection for the Sporting and SportTrap team. The Women’s Team are Jennie Cartwright, Katie Bishop and Sarah Franklin.
Glenn Fitch will be shooting Skeet to complete the Clay Shooting Team for Guernsey 2023
